The Bay Club would be a great place, if you aren’t staying while they are doing construction. They were re-stucco’ing the exterior and replacing sliding glass doors to the patios/balconies. Machines going from 8:30am-5:00pm daily. We had to keep our curtains closed b/c workers were on scaffolding right outside our doors. By the time we left (5 days), our room was covered in an 1/8” of dust. The pool was closed. The restaurant was closed our last 3 days b/c of the construction. The staff was incredibly nice and The Bay Club has a ton of potential….. but not right now while construction is going on. WE WERE DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST.

The rooms are spacious but a bit dated. They are really clean and usable without too much fuss. This is not your traditional hotel so the main desk is not staffed round the clock.

It is sad to have to review this hotel / timeshare exchange with low score. The 2nd star is for the staff, as they were very nice. The lobby is so outdated and dark, I wanted my money back without even seeing the room, but we couldn’t …

Booked resort as a getaway for me and my husband. Was not disappointed at all. It is an older building but very well maintained. Beautiful property. Had a shuttle service to and from the beach and pools. The Sunset Bay Cafe next door to the resort was awesome with great staff. Will go back!!!

Quiet out of the way place with no staff on sight. But a great place to lay your head for golf and Sandestin sites. There is a tram that takes you to the beach and many pools that you have access to. The staff is located in Majestic Sun and they're just a phone call away. We had a pleasant stay with friends and we will return.

Very clean and spacious units.staff was friendly and helpful. There is a ton of options for shopping and eating without leaving the resort..will deff come again year after year.they are in middle of face-lift making it look new again.

Beautiful view from the balcony of Destin Bay. Room was comfortable and clean. Full kitchen and separate bed and living room. Front desk was friendly and very helpful. No sales desk at this resort.
